Marylebone
At the most northern point of central London you’ll find the area of Marylebone nestled into the city of Westminster. Right next to Regents Park, it’s dotted with architecture that varies from Georgian terraces homes to amazingly graceful and serene properties. While the area is very residential, there are a lot of small museums that can be found here, including the Wallace Collection of Fine Arts and the Sherlock Holmes Museum.

Regent’s Park is a wide-open area that offers a little bit of everything. Here you’ll be able to take a relaxing walk through beautiful gardens, visit the boating area, or head over to the children’s play area to let your little ones release some of that bound-up energy. Within this area you can also visit one of the world’s oldest zoos, which you and your family are sure to love. There are lots of things to do and see in the zoo, including exhibits like “Meet the Monkeys”, “Butterfly Paradise”, and “Gorilla Kingdom”.
Getting around in Marylebone is made easy with plenty of tube stations found throughout the area. You can find a tube station on Baker Street, Bond Street, Edgeware road and many more places. If you prefer to travel by train, you’ll find the main station just off of Marylebone road. It also services nearby areas such as Banbury, Snow Hill, and High Wycombe.
